Location: Swindon, UK (Hybrid working)

Contract: Initial 12+ month contract- Outside IR35

Start: July 2026

Matchtech is supporting a leading international developer in the offshore wind sector in the search for two Technical Contract Managers to support major UK based projects.

This is a key role sitting at the intersection of engineering, commercial and contract delivery, responsible for managing technical tender and contract documentation across large scale renewable energy projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination, preparation and management of technical tender documentation and contract annexes
  • Take ownership of the technical contractual process from tender phase through to contract execution
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy and completeness across all technical documentation, including cross referencing and alignment
  • Act as the central interface between engineering, procurement, legal and external suppliers
  • Support technical negotiations, advising on standards, requirements, guaranteesand contract terms
  • Coordinate stakeholders across a complex, matrix project environment to ensure alignment and approvals
  • Drive continuous improvement within contract and documentation processes

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience within offshore wind, infrastructure, or large scale engineering projects
  • Proven experience managing or drafting technical contracts and tender documentation
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, contract management, or requirements management
  • Ability to work across technical, commercial and contractual interfaces
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Technical Knowledge

  • Wind turbines and associated systems
  • Offshore electrical systems (HV/LV cables, BoP)
  • Offshore foundations
  • Offshore installation and logistics

Additional Skills

  • Strong organisational and coordination capability
  • Ability to manage complex documentation and multiple stakeholders
  • Structured, detail oriented approach with strong prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable working in international and cross-functional teams
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Additional languages are advantageous
