Our client, a leading organisation in the marine and consumer electronics sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role involves developing innovative solutions for both commercial and leisure marine markets.

This role will give you the opportunity to work autonmously as part of a small team and give you the chance to grow, develop and lead a team in the longer term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing complex engineering projects
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create cutting-edge solutions
  • Participating in project planning meetings to define scope, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Monitoring project progress throughout its lifecycle
  • Documenting technical specifications, test procedures, and validation reports
  • Providing on-site installation and system design services
  • Ensuring excellent customer care and troubleshooting issues promptly

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Strong understanding of system design principles
  • Full UK driving licence for site and installation visits
  • Skilled in schematic creation and interpretation
  • Confidence to work independently or lead a team on customer sites
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with high-level computer technology including design packages like AutoCAD
  • Solar system design and installation experience is an advantage but not essential
