Our client, a leading firm in the engineering and construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team for a WWTW project).
- Overseeing the design processes to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinating with various project stakeholders to ensure seamless design execution
- Managing design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Leading design meetings and providing technical guidance to the design team
- Ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications
- Resolving any design-related issues that arise during project execution
- Supporting the project team in understanding design requirements and expectations
- Collaborating with contractors and suppliers to ensure design alignment and integration
Job Requirements:
- Experience in design management within the engineering and construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with design software and tools
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience in water treatment works or similar projects is desirable
- Local to Oxford or within a commutable distance
