Site Manager - Data Centre Project (Milan, Italy)

We are seeking a driven and professional Site Manager to join our team in Milan, Italy. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of projects according to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of on-site delivery, ensuring all works are executed in strict accordance with contract documentation:
Project Delivery: Manage the installation of work packages to ensure full compliance with drawings and specifications.
Safety Leadership: Produce Health and Safety RAMS documents for all scopes of work. Maintain all on-site documentation, including inductions, toolbox talks, equipment registers, and permits to work, ensuring a culture of safety at all times.
Operational Planning: Produce and manage two, four, and six-week look-ahead schedules, communicating these effectively to the supply chain.
Subcontractor Management: Actively manage subcontractors to ensure all project milestones and target dates are met.
Quality Control: Produce and issue quality control documentation and snag sheets, managing the process through to practical completion.
Reporting: Provide weekly progress reports to the Project Manager, alongside daily health and safety status updates.
Commissioning Support: Assist with pre-commissioning checks, commissioning processes, and the preparation of Technical Work Completion (TWC) packs.
Client Liaison: Act as the primary face of Gloster Global on-site. Maintain professional standards of appearance and conduct, ensuring our clients' expectations are managed and exceeded.
Commercial Support: Assist the Project Manager with technical submittals, material procurement, and the limitation of material wastage on site.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Qualifications: Must hold a recognised trade qualification (e.g., Plumbing, Pipefitting, Ductfitting, or Electrical) equivalent to City & Guilds.
Certification: Current CSCS Gold skill card (or equivalent) and SMSTS or SSSTS certification is essential.
Experience: A proven track record in a similar site management role within the construction sector.
Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attributes: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Physical Capability: As our projects involve high-rise developments, you must be physically fit to navigate work areas, including climbing stairs and extensive walking.
Flexibility: Willingness to work out of hours when required to meet project demands.
