A leading contractor in the water industry, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a significant project in Nannerch, North Wales. This contract role focuses on civil engineering within the water sector, with a particular emphasis on wastewater treatment works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing all on-site activities for wastewater treatment works projects
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinating and supervising the work of site staff and subcontractors
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance on site
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including financial performance
- Ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on site
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector
- Proven track record in successfully delivering projects valued at £1m or more
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment works
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline
