Our client, a prominent player in the Energy and Data Centre sectors, is currently seeking experienced a talented Planner to join their high-performing project team in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of Data Centre construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to create project plans that align with client expectations and project deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or roadblocks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials and resources.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and update project schedules accordingly.
- Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
- Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential conflicts or risks.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project planning within the Data Centre construction industry (CSA).
- Proficiency in using Primavera P6, Asta, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Methodology and scheduling for NEC contracts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
