  • £550 - £600 per day
  • Whiteley, England
  • Contract

Our client is seeking Data BAs to provide cross-squad, data-focused oversight across customer and colleague journey delivery. You'll sit between functional squads and enterprise data/analytics teams to ensure features are designed with reporting, downstream data provisioning, MDM, migration, data quality/lineage and enterprise standards in mind. This role complements (not replaces) the squad with a focus on data meaning, measurability and downstream usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data-focused requirements analysis
Partner with squad BAs, Technical BAs and stakeholders to capture reporting/analytics needs, define measurable business events, shape epics/features, and identify gaps in source data models that could impact reporting, integration, migration or MDM.

  • Cross-workstream data alignment
Act as the link between squads and enterprise data workstreams (Reporting & Analytics, Data Platform/Provisioning, MDM, Data Migration, Enterprise Modelling, Governance). Flag downstream impacts early and drive alignment on shared entities, metrics and event definitions.

  • Reporting & analytics enablement
Help identify/reporting use cases, define metrics and business rules, and support backlog refinement/prioritisation with reporting and data platform teams.

  • Data impact & change analysis
Assess change impacts on dashboards/reports, integrations, migration processes, MDM solutions and enterprise data models, maintaining traceability from business need to downstream consumption.

  • Governance & data quality
Support adherence to enterprise standards and naming conventions, and surface data quality risks/gaps in upstream capture alongside governance teams.
