Our client is a leading global engineering and technical services organization tackling major challenges in science, security, and sustainability. Their Nuclear Power Programmes division supports positive change and helps shape the future of Nuclear Power.
Operational throughout the UK and across continental Europe, they are expanding their team across a variety of nuclear projects at different stages of development. They are seeking talented individuals committed to Net Zero and Energy Security to deliver major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of Project Quality Control Plans (PQCPs) and Quality Execution Plans.
Ensure supplier and contractor compliance with quality requirements, CQAPs, ITPs, LTQRs, and contractual standards.
Coordinate and monitor inspections, surveillance activities, witness points, and testing programmes.
Support supplier audits, track findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Review manufacturing, construction, and quality documentation, including end-of-manufacturing and handover records.
Monitor non-conformances, quality issues, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Report quality metrics and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across project teams, contractors, inspection bodies, and suppliers.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in quality assurance/control within nuclear or other safety-critical industries.
Strong understanding of QA/QC across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 19443, IAEA GSR-2, and quality management systems.
Experience with supplier audits and supply-chain quality management.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent qualification in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
