Our client is seeking skilled P6 Planners, both Senior and Intermediate levels, to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves working on a significant nuclear power station project, offering an exciting opportunity within a large, complex programme environment. You will be engaging with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to sectors such as utilities, energy, highways, defence, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining, and reporting against complex project schedules
- Conducting critical path analysis, progress reporting, and forecasting
- Working within an integrated programme environment
- Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are met
- Collaborating with stakeholders to optimise project planning and execution
- Utilising project planning software to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Providing comprehensive updates and reports to senior management
- Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project planning within sectors such as nuclear, energy, rail, aviation, utilities, highways, defence, or other major infrastructure sectors
- Proficiency in using project planning software, specifically P6
- Understanding of critical path analysis and integrated programme environments
- Excellent progress reporting and forecasting skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
