I am recruiting for an Environment Advisor to cover the Severn Trent region, there will be a mix of home and site work. They have offices in Derby with hybrid working on offer.

Job description
The purpose of this role is to advise and promote Environmental management on the construction sites and implementing the requirements of the Environment Management Plans.
You will visit site locations around the Severn Trent region to undertake environmental audits/inspections and give advice on environmental management. In addition, you will support the business in achieving their Carbon Net Zero goals!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support projects from tender through to commissioning and handover, to ensure all environmental requirements have been identified and satisfied during the project, and where feasible innovation and best practice has been implemented to reduce environmental impacts of the project
- Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other documentation as required, to ensure sufficient environmental content and consideration for activities with specific environmental risks and/or requirements
- Raise environment/sustainability awareness and community relations awareness
- Undertake investigations into environmental incidents (including reporting incidents to Client and Regulator where required) and improve its and produce alerts and lessons learnt as required.
Person specification:
- UK Drivers' licence and willingness to travel
- Appropriate qualification covering environmental management
On offer is a salary of 30-35k+ depending on experience.
