Job description

My client is a non-departmental public body, which regulates work-based pension schemes in the United Kingdom and plays an important role in helping to keep more than £2trn of savings safe.
As a result of the organisation becoming more data informed, they are looking for someone who is a strong technical leader to work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to design and deliver requirements within the data platform solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the long-term strategy and development of the Data Platform
• Accountable for data solution design, technology identification, feasibility, input to scoping, estimating, planning and costing of solutions required to support data business requirements
• Ensure the Data Platform remains in accordance with the IT Strategy, Enterprise, Business and Data strategy plus Government IT Strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Deep understanding of cloud data platforms and data storage technologies
• Excellent SQL skills at both a functional and non-functional level
• Understanding of data integration and workflow applications (Ideally Azure Data Factory)

In return, my client is offering a salary of up to £92,189 depending on experience and skill set as well as a world beating pension scheme.
This a hybrid role that will require travel to the Brighton office once a week.
