General Requirements: Minimum 10 years experience within a manufacturing operation A "right first time" attitude Experience within an MRP manufacturing based environment is preferred Able to understand and drive business needs (e.g., customer) Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, and the person must be good at working with detail in a logical, organised way

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Performs work by following the company's operating standards and procedures Backing-up of CNC Programs & Setting Sheets Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings including GD&T requirements Working to tight tolerances Accountability for checking own work and work of others as required Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Lathes (Mazak & Fanuc Controls) Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the department Ensure that daily maintenance is carried out as required Use of a varying range of metrology equipment
