Job description
Our contractor client is seeking a Civils Design Engineer to work out of their London office with some travel to a South Coast project.
Our client are a Municipal design and build contractor working across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the USA. They primarily focus on supporting the water sector through existing asset upgrades and replacements. They also offer a turn-key design and installation packages across all aspects of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Control, and Process design from offices in the UK and Ireland.
They are looking to recruit a Civil design engineer to work on projects based out of their London office. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary design team working on projects throughout the south of England at all stages of design and construction. The role will combine primarily Civil / Temporary works design work with liaising with clients and site delivery teams to achieve efficient solutions, primarily on major civil infrastructure projects for the water industry.
Qualifications/experience
- 2 to 5 five years of experience,
- Understanding of constructability challenges during projects.
- Previous design experience is ideal but not required
- Interest in learning how to design works to be efficient and safe is a must
- Ideally a degree in civil engineering
Benefits
- Office based in London office (Marylebone) with expectation to travel to site in Havant weekly.

- Holiday, 22 days P.a. plus bank holidays
- Salary expectations in the region of £50,000 DOE
- Hours 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday.
