Job description

What we're looking for in you:

* Ability to maintain a high level of visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.

* Ability to work well within a team environment.

* Ability to read, analyse and interpret engineering information.

* Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables to identify the root cause of problems.

* Review Supplier Documentation in support of new and evolving Radar products.

* Review Declaration of Design and Performance (DDP) document.

* Review of Equipment Amendment Proposal Forms (EAPF) and raising of associated Request For Alteration documentation as appropriate.

* Review and assess Supplier Trials Modifications and raise associated Experimental Change Requests (XCRs).

* Review and process Supplier Waiver applications.

* Review and process Supplier Deviation applications.

* Production of Build Test Procedures in support of Development and Production Aircraft build.

* Support ad-hoc technical queries both from the Supplier and external stakeholders.

* Provide status reporting of the progress of ongoing tasks through the JIRA toolset.

* Liaise with Subject Matter Expert (SME) areas as appropriate.

All the above activities would be discharged as part of a wider team reporting to the Equipment Delivery Team Group Leader for the ECRS Mk0 Radar. Training will be provided where necessary. The role requires a strong Engineering background with good written and verbal communication skills.

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.

Clearance Requirements & Eligibility

SC + ITAR This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a Criminal Record Check and you must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct access to ITAR Material, therefore we can only consider UK Nationals for this position.
