Job description
General Duties:
Act as the Employers representative, ensuring safe efficient execution of the contractors works
* Set the expectations for safety and lead by example
* Monitor Health safety and welfare performance of the contractors
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates
* Ensure that all work is executed in accordance with accepted documentation and ensure that identified control measures are in place and adequate. Review operations and identify any gaps
* When required assist the employer and contractor in preparing and implementing management of change (MOC)
* Provide regular updates to the WTG Installation Manager
* Help coordinate the interface between the WTG Contractor and all other parties to ensure efficient execution of the works
* Attend daily coordination/progress meeting with Contractors
* Attend regular Site Safety walks
* Attend daily Contractor Toolbox Talks
* Carry out QA walkdowns and component inspections as required
* Carry out ToC walkdowns as required to maintain access to the assets
Experience:
* Must have previous experience of either commissioning or held a QA role in connection with Offshore wind power (preferably WTGs)
* Preferably candidates will be able to demonstrate 5 years in the offshore wind industry
