Job description

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a new Web Developer to join one of their established teams to rebuild a number of in-house applications. The project will be migrating from the Grails framework to a user interface in React/Next.js, with a Node/Express.js backend.

They are looking for someone to help build the framework, improve the user experience and revamp the "look and feel" of their intranet sites.
 

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the company's multi skilled Web Development team to rebuild all onsite web applications using a new modern framework compliant with Company procedures.
• Ensure development of updated documentation.

• Contribute to the Development of Test plans and UAT.

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrate in depth knowledge and experience of Web Application Security Best Practices, for the secure development of web applications.
• Deep knowledge of the following: JavaScript | HTML and CSS | React.js | React.js Styled-Components

 

Beneficial experience of the following:

• React.js Context API / Redux
• Next.js | Express.js
• API design and implementation
