Job description
The purpose of this role is to provide effective delivery of Quality performance on this significant water project.
Your duties will include:
- Undertake internal and external quality audits at all stages of the delivery process.
- Support and embed our proactive approach to Quality Control
- Embed understanding of Quality, its benefits and the requirements on the company in this respect.
- Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business including construction delivery, proposals, procurement, business services and design.
- Support Senior Quality Advisor in the resolution of findings and corrective actions.
- Deputise for the Senior Quality Advisor at the Quality Managers Forum, as required.
- Work closely with wider HSEQ team.
- Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
- Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
You will be responsible for developing and supporting Quality Performance within the region and thus a willingness to travel on occasion is essential.
You must have:
- Strong background in Quality Control within closely related industry
- Approved Internal or Lead Quality auditor's course from an IRCA accredited company
- Conversant in quality legislation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated products
Salary is 35-45k+
