Job description
This is an opportunity for an Electrical and Instrument Project Engineer to work on a world-first green hydrogen gas project which involves the design and installation of a hydrogen production and storage plant.
The successful candidate must have a background as an Electrical Design Engineer or an Instrument Design Engineer and be able to make Electrical and Instrument engineering decisions.
The daily role and responsibilities of this position will include stewardship of the schedule, budget and scope whilst managing engineering contractors through detailed design. You will liaise with contractors during design, fabrication, installation and commissioning and promote safety throughout. You must be able to answer technical queries regarding the electrical engineering and instrument engineering aspects throughout this project.
To be considered for this vacancy candidates should have an electrical engineering or instrument engineering qualification (ONC / HNC minimum). Plus, you must have demonstrable experience as an electrical design engineer or instrument design engineer and a Project Engineer on process plant projects in highly regulated industries e.g. oil & gas, oil refinery, petrochemical or chemical manufacturing.
This role is Inside IR35. The rate advertised is PAYE. We can also pay the successful candidate on an Umbrella basis. Details can be discussed upon application.
