Business Support Senior Administrator - 12 months - Portsmouth Naval Base - £14.17 UMB p/h or £10.90 PAYE p/h (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e., the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
This role will require you to hold or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC). You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum 5-year period. The Role:
Undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties within a department. This is a position for an administrator with a detailed understanding of the systems, processes and procedures and their importance within the general operation of the department. At this level the administrator will typically have experience in a clerical environment.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- General day to day admin tasks
- Processing documents received from a range of sources.
- Files documents and keeps filing systems up to date such that information can be readily retrieved.
- May deal with customers and suppliers and exchange information in order to clarify a situation, e.g. placing orders, arranging appointments, deliveries, etc.
Skills Required:
- Some experience in a clerical role within the Business Support function
- Microsoft Skills essential (outlook word excel)
- Experience in a clerical environment is desirable but not essential.
