About Us
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Software Engineer to join and highly experinced Mission Systems team. You will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our expanding customer base, utilising your strong background in object-oriented Software Development, Computer Engineering, and networks.

Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Contribute to requirements capture, design, development, testing, and delivery of software applications and products.
• Undertake troubleshooting, analyze, and resolve issues on existing systems.
• Collaborate with team members on a range of exciting projects, from proof of concept to customer delivery, throughout the software lifecycle.

Required Experience

• Proficiency in object-oriented software development using C#, Microsoft .Net Framework (C#), and .NET Core.
• Experience developing software for complex control systems.
• Familiarity with version management and control tools such as git.
• Good understanding of software development and Agile Software Engineering best practices.

Desirable Experience

• Development experience with technologies such as HTTP REST, XML, JSON; databases such as SQLite, PostgreSQL, and API creation.
• Use of Code Quality Tooling (e.g., SonarQube, Checkstyle), understanding of software design patterns, and familiarity with DevOps and Automated Testing.

Qualifications and Skills

• A relevant Engineering or IT qualification (degree, foundation degree, or HND).
• Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to propose innovative solutions.
• Drive to deliver results on time, meeting cost and quality targets, taking ownership of issues, and working diligently towards resolutions.
