Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for electronics? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing engineering/design team. As a leading LED Lighting Manufacturing Company, we design, engineer and manufacture the products that enhance the travel experience. We are focused on designing high quality innovative lighting, air filtration and HMI products that exceed our customers' and passengers expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and fault-finding Circuit Boards with CANBus functionality, particularly for devices such as HD touchscreens.
- Providing assistance to the production team by addressing electrical technical queries.
- Collaborating with Firmware/Software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
- Generating and reviewing comprehensive product documentation.
- Creating schematic drawings to support the design process.
- Designing circuits in compliance with Aerospace and regulatory requirements, facilitating external testing as needed.
- Assessing and troubleshooting repairs and faults.
- Writing detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
Essential:
EMC testing experience.
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of electronics and circuit design, with proficiency in STM32 and CANBus functionality.
- Experience working within the aerospace industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with QMS AS9100 and Part21G/J is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in software such as KiCAD is desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a team.
