Job description


Position: Electrical Project Manager - Water Industry
Location: Kent (Hybrid Working Available)
Responsibilities:
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client's Water Industry team. In this role, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects within water infrastructure across the UK. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project planning, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for electrical components of water projects.
  • Managing project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations, with a focus on electrical systems and components.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues related to electrical aspects, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with electrical industry standards and water industry regulations.
  • Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, emphasizing electrical project milestones and deliverables.


About You:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on electrical engineering within the water industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components relevant to water infrastructure, such as control systems, instrumentation, and electrical distribution.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively lead electrical project teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable electrical solutions within the water industry.
