About the Opportunity

My client have an opportunity to join a growing team of System Engineering professionals to work on projects across Critical National Infrastructure, National Security, Defence, and Nuclear sectors. We are seeking self-starting, motivated System Engineers experienced in the full scope of the System Engineering lifecycle. You will support existing projects, secure future business, and collaborate on exciting projects within the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Government portfolio. This role offers career growth opportunities and mentorship under senior system engineers.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the System Engineering Manager, typical activities include:

• Execution of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach.
• Development and management of system requirements, including user workshops.
• Elaboration of system requirements into system architecture and design.
• Execution of engineering governance activities such as Critical Design reviews (CDR).
• Support Verification and Validation activities, including defect triage.
• System qualification, acceptance, and release at product and system levels.

Key Requirements

• Experience in System Engineering disciplines: Requirements Management, Architecture Definition, System Design, Qualification, Assurance, and Release.
• Understanding of the end-to-end System Engineering lifecycle (e.g., ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288).
• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering tools like IBM DOORS, SparxEA, or PTC Integrity Modeller.
• Experience in projects delivering to the UK MoD is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Flexibility to work across diverse projects in a collaborative team environment.
