£24-25 p/h

A client of ours is looking for a number of Mechanical Fitters for a Water Treatment site close to Kings Lynn. Working on the Anglian Water framework there is potential for a long continuation of work after this project has finished.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repair: Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment within water treatment and distribution facilities.

2. Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment.

3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to minimise downtime and ensure continuous water supply.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment history.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: CSCS, @One Alliance Passport (desirable), Confined Space (desirable), Drivers License

2. Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the water or utility sector

3. Skills: Proficient in reading technical drawings, strong problem-solving abilities, and hands-on experience with tools and machinery.

4. Safety Conscious: Adherence to safety protocols and commitment to creating a secure working environment.

5. Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
