Working Hours
18:00pm - 06:00am 4 On 4 Off Nights

Summary Of The Role
To set up and operate production lines in accordance to specification set. To achieve hourly/ daily targets for the completion of the customer schedule in the most cost-effective manner.
To constantly seek to improve the performances of the machines.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

. Schedule compliance
. Product quality
. Engineering liaison
. Machine performance (throughput, downtime, utilisation)
. Progress reporting/communication
. Motivation
. Agreed remedial machine adjustment
. Continuous improvements
. Assist in the PDR process


Other Duties:
Adherence to the Company's Health and Safety policy at all times and operate and promote the development of quality standards and procedures taking ownership of tasks and to seek new improved ways of doing things.


A degree of flexibility is required, and the job holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above and which will be appropriate to the level of the role. All duties must be carried out in compliance with company Quality System, Health and Safety Policies and regulations set out in the Medical Device Directive.

Experience
* Machine set up
* Remedial machine adjustment
* Operate production lines
* Care in the handling, set up and usage of tools
* Schedule compliance
* Hourly / daily target achievement
* Ability to communicate and deliver progress reports on machine performance

Knowledge
* Knowledge of Health & Safety Policies
* Microsoft Office
* CI/Lean Principles
