Electrical Design Engineer
Intermediate Level

Job Responsibilities:
Electrical System Design: Develop and design electrical systems for industrial applications, with a focus on automation and control.

Siemens PLC Integration: Design and implement control systems using Siemens programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to meet project requirements.

HMI Integration: Collaborate with the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) team to integrate and interface Siemens PLCs with HMI systems for effective control and monitoring.

Control Panel Design: Create detailed electrical schematics and drawings for control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Testing and Commissioning: Participate in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including PLCs, to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and automation specialists, to ensure seamless integration of electrical and control systems.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, and manuals, to support system implementation and maintenance.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system issues during the testing and commissioning phases.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical and control system designs.

Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:
2-3 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on industrial automation and Siemens PLCs.

Siemens PLC Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs, including programming and configuration.

PLC Programming Skills: Proficient in programming Siemens PLCs using languages such as ladder logic, FBD, or structured text.

Electrical Design Software: Proficiency in using electrical design software, such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

HMI Integration Skills: Familiarity with integrating Siemens PLCs with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.

Compliance: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and automation.

Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues.
