Job Purpose: To lead on writing test scripts and conducting tests before new technology and software runs smoothly and meets customer. Accountable for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.



Main Duties:

  • Act as an integral part of the digital team, working closely with developers, product manager, and user experience designers to deliver high quality products and services.
  • Represent the end-user and ensure the software meets their needs in terms of functionality, performance, usability, and reliability.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
  • Prioritise and plan testing activities.
  • Organise and lead testing stand-ups with internal stakeholders post walk throughs.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts when needed.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs to resolution.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements.
  • Track quality assurance metrics and provide regular updates to the Digital Product Manager.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Attend daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives both run internally and externally with digital agencies.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing on live environments to check for any regression.
  • Provide incident reports where appropriate.
  • Onboard people who haven't formed part of testing before and make sure they have the right skills and tools to support testing.
