Essential:
-
Demonstratable skills and experience in Highways or Traffic design. Ideally having worked previously within a local authority.

Areas of expertise may include: Traffic Management, Traffic Calming, Active Travel, Signing and Lining, Road Safety, Traffic Regulation Orders, Parking.

Competency in the use of DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, Road Traffic Regulation Act, Manual for Streets and other local authority standards.

Relevant experience in design software such as CAD/KeySign & KeyLine where appropriate.

Strong knowledge of Traffic engineering.

Full UK driving license

Ability to complete majority of the works remotely, however have the ability to travel into the office as and when required.
Desirable:
-
HNC / HND level in a Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
