Job description

Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team. This is a contract position with our client BAE - Maritime Naval Ships (MNS). As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electrical systems and equipment are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical faults.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Testing electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Participating in the planning and execution of electrical projects.

Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as an Electrician, preferably within the Defence industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant trade qualifications as an Electrician.
