Introduction

Our client, a leading automotive consultancy, is seeking a Senior/Lead Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the aerospace and automotive sectors, providing innovative and efficient design solutions. This is a contract position with the opportunity to work on exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thermal and mechanical design activities
• Utilizing Catia software to develop and modify design concepts
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all requirements
• Performing analysis and evaluation of designs to ensure feasibility and efficiency
• Preparing technical documentation and reports
• Contributing to design reviews and presenting ideas to stakeholders
• Identifying and implementing design improvements

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in design engineering within the aerospace and/or automotive sectors
• Proficiency in Catia software for design and modification purposes
• Strong understanding of thermal and mechanical design principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of precision in design work
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
