Introduction
Our client, a leading automotive consultancy, is seeking a Senior/Lead Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the aerospace and automotive sectors, providing innovative and efficient design solutions. This is a contract position with the opportunity to work on exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thermal and mechanical design activities
- Utilizing Catia software to develop and modify design concepts
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets all requirements
- Performing analysis and evaluation of designs to ensure feasibility and efficiency
- Preparing technical documentation and reports
- Contributing to design reviews and presenting ideas to stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing design improvements
Job Requirements
- Significant experience in design engineering within the aerospace and/or automotive sectors
- Proficiency in Catia software for design and modification purposes
- Strong understanding of thermal and mechanical design principles
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of precision in design work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
