Job description


Our client, a leading company in the water industry, is currently seeking a MEICA Commissioning Engineer (low level) to join their team on a contract basis. As a MEICA Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful electrical commissioning of projects within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake part commissioning, part Electrical Supervision, and part administrative duties.
  • Assist in the testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Carry out inspections and checks to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring that they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including commissioning records and reports.
  • Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to coordinate activities effectively.

Job Requirements:

  • Good experience in electrical commissioning within the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Proficient in conducting tests and inspections to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Health and Safety conscious with a commitment to safe working practices.
