Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lighting designs and provide technical support
• Utilize Lighting Reality and Amtech ProDesign 4 G39/1 Code of practice
• Undertake checks and approval of lighting designs
• Visit live sites and liaise with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with other Street Lighting Senior Engineers, Engineers, and Technicians

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in streetlighting
• Experience using Lighting Reality and Amtech ProDesign 4 G39/1 Code of practice
• Full UK driving licence
• Desirable: Associate membership of the ILP for design checking and approval

The successful candidate will be based in Winchester and will follow a hybrid working model, with a mixture of home and office work. Regular visits to live sites are expected, along with office work at thier main office. The starting date for this position is 2nd April 2024, and the initial duration of the contract will be until the end of September 2024, with potential for further extension.
