Senior Digital Java Developer

Our client, a leading public sector organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Digital Java Developer to join their team on a contract basis. As a Java Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to design and implement high-quality Java-based solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software development projects
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java EE
• Proven ability to successfully deliver complex software projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards
• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java-based frameworks
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Recent experience with Java 11 (or later)
• Excellent understanding of TDD and BDD
• Experience with large microservice architecture
