Job description

Location: Initially Greenford but will move to the Maidenhead site later this year (4 day condensed week - site based)

Duration: 6 month contract

Outside IR35 - open to market rates

Role profile:

Our defence client is looking for a Systems Test Consultant to join their team on a contract basis. This role will sit within their Cyber division and will be a part of the Systems Engineering function that provides full systems lifecycle expertise to all projects.

We are looking for a candidate who is experienced with Python scripting and Robot framework.

Responsibilities will include:

• Verification and Validation activities
• Developing high quality Test verification and validation artefacts, aligned to the ITEAP, where all testing results in definitive outcomes to establish the compliance of the solution of interest.
• Write high quality technical test plans and procedures.
• Manage defects resulting from testing, triage, overseeing rectification approach, assure regression and testing to implement corrective measures.
• Hands-on development testing and formal acceptance testing of either hardware, software or firmware solutions
• Optimising testing, using other verification methods, to minimise testing and/or testing to assure other methods via test evidence.
• Act as work package owner to manage and deliver the agreed and required tasks on time and on budget.
