Job description

Initial salary for the first 12 weeks: £31,314.00, with an increase to £32,261.00 thereafter. Annual salary increases are scheduled for April.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspection and measurement of Components/Assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings and contractual standards.
  • Uphold a safe work environment and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards as per company guidelines.
  • Provide inspection coverage across the site as required, adhering to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist various departments with quality-related investigations when needed.
  • Proficiency in generating First Article reports and monitoring statistical process control data is advantageous.
  • Assist in investigating non-conformances using measuring equipment.
  • Familiarity with programming and operating coordinate measurement machines or specialised inspection equipment is advantageous.
  • Interpret technical drawings, component maintenance manuals, and standards accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to support Operations in meeting customer deadlines.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet production demands.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Ability to comprehend technical drawings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in an Aerospace environment is preferred.
