Job description

Leading independent cost and project management consultancy seeks two Associate / Associate Director level professionals from a quantity surveying background to join their expanding team in Manchester. These exciting roles will see you represent a major infrastructure client who are delivering a £multi-billion investment construction programme.

As Associate / Associate Director you will work closely with the client providing governance services ensuring that the supply chain is delivering the projects in a suitable and cost effective way. If you have strong stakeholder management experience, enjoy working on fast paced projects and would like to work for a company that really values their staff these roles would be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial management and quantity surveying support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure effective contract and cost management, including an understanding of the NEC form of contract
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Oversee and work closely with suppliers, ensuring compliance and managing any potential disputes
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and time requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within a consultancy or similar environment
  • Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartered status
  • Strong understanding of the NEC form of contract
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
