Job description

Our client, a leading engineering and construction company in the renewables sector, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of offshore wind foundations, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis tasks using company standard software, primarily SACS, as well as STAAD and GT-STRUDL.
- Conduct detailed design calculations in accordance with current requirements, industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Review, comment on, and approve structural drawings for steel structures based on engineering design.
- Prepare high-quality design reports and maintain accurate records in accordance with department operating procedures.

Job Requirements:
- BEng, MEng, or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer or progressing towards chartered status.
- Relevant experience in the offshore energy industry, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions.
- Ability to apply engineering principles to solve challenging problems and work effectively within a small team.
- Strong command of written and verbal English.

Software Experience:
- MS Excel and hand calculations.
- SACS.
- STAAD.
