Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in steering engineering efforts focused on core software development within the organization.

Responsabilities:

As the Head of Engineering, you will be instrumental in assembling and leading a high-performing engineering team. Your duties will encompass providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. You'll be hands-on with development tasks, particularly in Embedded RTOS and low-level development on mobile platforms, while also championing best practices in software development management, utilizing methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, or others as deemed fit.

About You:

Our client is seeking an accomplished individual with a proven track record in managing intricate software projects, preferably in the domains of Law Enforcement, Defence, or National Security. Your proficiency in development languages such as Python, C, C++, and Assembly, coupled with a deep understanding of mobile operating system internals, will be invaluable. Additionally, your leadership acumen and experience in providing technical guidance will be vital to our client's success.

Ideal candidates will be citizens or permanent residents of one of the Five Eyes countries-based in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada-and possess or have previously held security clearance.
