Rate: £65 ph, LTD, outside IR35

Duration: Initial 6 Months

Clearance: SC required

Location: Southampton/Basildon - 1 day on site p/w

Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer for their Southampton/Basildon Site. The vacancy is with the Integrated Sensor & Protection business unit, working on the JEWCS Land and Maritime Systems. The successful applicant will have experience of Integration, Verification and Validation of complex systems and have experience in writing and performing Test Procedures on the products.

Job Description

The role is to provide testing activities and documentation for system level integration activity. This includes:

• Reviewing test documentation from internal and external suppliers.
• Witnessing test activities from internal and external suppliers.
• Attending project design reviews.
• Undertaking testing to demonstrate compliance with requirement.
• Writing test reports; produce customer acceptance test and carry out associated test.
