Job description

Our client is currently seeking a CAD Technician to join their team. As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in supporting traffic and parking projects, ensuring accurate and efficient drafting using AutoCAD. This is a contract position, offering a competitive daily rate between £200-£250 per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to produce accurate and detailed drawings for traffic and parking projects
• Assist in the design and development of traffic management schemes
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met
• Conduct on-site visits to gather data and verify project requirements
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Maintain and update CAD drawings and project documentation
• Provide technical support and assistance to the project team
• Attend meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software
• Experience in working on traffic or parking projects is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings
• Good understanding of relevant regulations and standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
