Job Requirements

• Qualifications and experience within an engineering field within the Container/Cargo industry (this could include Naval Architecture, Mechanical Design, Technical Management, Seagoing Engineering, Marine Engineering).
• Excellent soft skills - strong communication and influencing abilities, people management, and leadership.
• Singapore citizen or PR status.
• Desirable experience in working with decarbonisation, automation, or robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and coordination of vessel operations, ensuring smooth sailing and on-time deliveries of ship containers and general cargo.
• Closely monitor vessel performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize vessel utilization and maintain high levels of operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance decarbonisation, automation, and robotics initiatives.
