Role Overview: As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in our production process, utilizing your expertise to fabricate, shape, and assemble sheet metal components to exacting standards. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings to measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal components.
- Demonstrate proficiency in fabrication techniques for aluminum and stainless steel.
- Perform stretching, shrinking, and adjustment of sheet metal components to meet specifications.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to shape sheet metal over blocks/forms effectively.
- Conduct assembly fitting of welded sheet metal components with precision.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects, contributing both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Details:
- Shift: Day shift
- Working Hours: Flexible, 37-hour working week
- Overtime: Available at 1.5x rate
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong fabrication skills with aluminum and stainless steel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
