Job description

Our client, is seeking a skilled Capital Works Officer to join their team on a contract basis. As a Capital Works Officer, you will play a crucial role in approving and monitoring a program of capital works improvements, encompassing internal, external, and communal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approving and monitoring a program of capital works improvements
• Evaluating variations and ensuring compliance with Section 20
• Managing contracts and monitoring quality, timescales, and tenant satisfaction
• Producing reports and presenting information at all levels
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in building surveying
• Strong contract management skills
• Understanding of Section 20
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of delivering capital works programs within the housing sector
