Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, offering support to various industries including chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage markets. They focus on enhancing asset efficiency, ensuring high availability, and reducing maintenance costs.


With extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities, our client specialises in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the electrical team. You will oversee all aspects of the work, including planning and scheduling, and ensure compliance with company and client standards. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Assisting with scoping work activities and engaging with the client's representatives
  • Engaging in internal audit programs to support the contract
  • Demonstrating flexibility in handling challenging time lines and adapting to changing priorities
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Providing construction input during design and planning phases
  • Effective communication with team members
  • Contributing to project cost estimates and execution programs
  • Conducting ongoing evaluations of personnel
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to electrical and instrument activities
  • Providing solutions for construction problems
  • Writing, reviewing, and verifying paperwork (RAMS, Material Requisitions, Testing and Inspection records)
  • Ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of scopes of work
  • Monitoring and reporting site progress and labour allocation
  • Continuously improving working practices
  • Conducting daily inspections of HSEQ requirements
  • Supporting the electrical department in training and development
  • Enforcing safety regulations and proper codes and standards


Competencies:
Preferred:

  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • IOSH Managing Safety Cert.
  • CITB - SSSTS or similar
  • Experience of site E&I activities in Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry
  • Time served Electrical Apprenticeship


Essential:

  • NVQ educated in relevant Electrical Engineering or similar
  • City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • COMPEX 1-4 & 5-6 (preferred)
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative requirements and compliance to Client Engineering standards
