Job description
HV Multi Skilled Technician
Our client, a reputable entity in the power utilities, energy, and renewables sector, is seeking a diligent and skilled HV Multi Skilled Technician to join their permanent team. This role is crucial within the Project Delivery team, focusing on substation and infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects, Contestable Connections, and Private Network installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of LV/HV substation equipment
- Installation of multicore cables and associated equipment for protection and control systems
- HV cable installation including jointing
- Transformer tails/terminations
- Supporting commissioning activity on new build projects
- Small/panel wiring
- Small power and lighting
- LV electrical testing
- Installation of earthing and associated equipment
- Adhering to company rules, health and safety, and environmental standards and practices
- Working as part of a team
- Attending training and continuous development opportunities
- Promoting a positive company image to clients
Job Requirements:
- Cable Jointer Trained and experience up to 11kv/33kv
- Pasma, working at heights
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel UK wide
- Willingness or skilled to carry out Technician duties such as Wiring, cable installation and terminations
- SHEA Power
Benefits:
- Paying up to £45,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday 40hrs per week
- Overtime available and inflated rates after 6pm and Weekend / Bank Holidays
- Door to Door pay
- Company vehicle and Fuel card

- 10% annual bonus
