Job Title: PC-Dmis experienced CMM Programmer
Job Type: Full-Time / Onsite
Salary: £45,000 per year + Overtime at Time 1/2
About Us:
We are a leading aerospace precision engineering company specialising in high-quality mould tools, multi-axis CNC machining, turning, milling, rapid response, wire cutting, automation, laser processing, bead blasting, and assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- CMM Set-up & Programming using PC DMIS 2022.
- Perform First-Off and Last-Off Inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct Patrol Inspections during production runs to monitor ongoing quality.
- Perform Visual Inspections of components to identify any defects or deviations from standards.
- Carry out Goods Inward Inspections to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications.
- Complete Digital FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) Reporting.
- Control CMM programs and any methods of checking/fixturing to ensure they are up to date and properly maintained.
- Support ISO Management & QMS activities, including calibration, traceability, and data integrity processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering and quality control within a precision engineering environment.
- Training in QMS (Quality Management Systems) and a good understanding of ISO standards.
- Strong experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and PC DMIS 2022 for set-up and programming.
- Ability to use a range of precision measuring equipment.
- Experience with CAD programming for inspection purposes.
- Knowledge of goods inward inspection, dimensional inspections, and visual inspection techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations in component specifications.
- Experience working in an aerospace or precision engineering environment is preferred.
