Job description
Our client is seeking a skilled 3D CAD/BIM Technician to join their team in the water sector on a contract basis. This position involves working on wastewater projects within the Severn Trent region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed 3D CAD models for wastewater projects
- Utilising BIM technologies to enhance project workflow and coordination
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution
- Preparing technical drawings and documentation as required
- Conducting occasional site visits to support project delivery
- Adhering to industry standards and best practices in CAD and BIM processes
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members
Job Requirements:
- Experience in using 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as NavisWorks and Revit
- Understanding of wastewater infrastructure and projects
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional site visits
- Flexible approach to work hours
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
