Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the standard and quality of construction for Zone A within a flood defence scheme.
- Establish and maintain standards and culture with the Contractor in preparation for the upcoming works
- Work closely with the client's existing NEC4 ECC Supervisor team, particularly focusing on sheet piling, retaining walls, and foot and cycle ways
- Provide support to the Zone E ECC Supervisors when necessary
- Monitor compliance with NEC4 contract conditions and health and safety requirements
- Prepare and review progress reports and ensure documentation is maintained accurately
- Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery
Job Requirements:
- Experience with NEC contract management, preferably NEC4
- Understanding of highway and flood defence project requirements
- Experience in supervision of civil engineering projects, especially in similar environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- NEC Supervisor accreditation or equivalent experience is preferred
