My Client is recruiting for an Associate Director EICA Engineering in the Water Sector
Location: Birmingham, Surrey or Bristol with Hybrid working.

Bring your skills to the mix as an Associate Director in EICA Engineering, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of business development and EICA engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Birmingham, Surrey and Bristol offices (Other locations may be considered).
Your Purpose:
- Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Setting quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop and manage ICA engineering capability within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Comprehensive knowledge in ICA design (instrumentation, PLC and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.
- Expert knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance.
