Our client is a leader in the Defence & Security sector, they're currently seeking a skilled Senior Security Compliance Technician to join them on a permanent basis.

This role is based at their site in Ealing and will involve managing multi-site Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure compliance with ISO27001. The successful candidate will hold an active government security clearance and will be part of the Security Group.

Job Requirements

• Experience in managing security measures and controls
• Ability to monitor security access
• Skilled in conducting internal and external security audits
• Proficiency in analysing security breaches
• Capability to recommend tools and processes for security improvement
• Aptitude for teaching security awareness
• Experience in coordinating security with outside vendors

Key Responsibilities

Information Security Management System (ISMS)

• Managing multi-site ISMS
• Ensuring compliance with ISO27001

Facility Security Controlled (FSC) & Industry Personnel Security Assurance (IPSA)

• Determining and processing appropriate levels of security clearance
• Representing the company with the MoD Security Department
• Attending and contributing to industry working groups
• Briefing staff and teams on responsibilities and policy updates
• Liaising with the Defence Vetting Agency
• Conducting security briefings for new personnel and periodic updates
• Issuing and updating passes with appropriate levels of access
• Maintaining the Wiseman security database
• Managing classified material receipts
• Updating and maintaining the Security Aspects Letter database
• Administering UK and Overseas Visit Requests
• Preparing and maintaining policy and procedures for classified document handling
• Managing receipt and despatch of classified documents
• Maintaining classified document register
• Conducting classified asset musters
• Preparing assessments for possible security violations and corrective measures
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
